Restaurants and food outlets that tolerate mice activity in their premises have been sent a warning by scientists – the rodents might kill their customers.
Research has shown that common house mice carry potentially fatal diseases that are resistant to antibiotics and could be passed on to humans. A SUPERPROOF expert said that this should be of particular concern for food businesses which should be setting the highest hygiene standards to protect customers.
