Increasing numbers of property professionals and householders are concluding that SUPERPROOF’s strategy of preventing pests getting into human living space is the best option to protect homes and businesses.
The success of the UK’s leading rodent proofing specialist in combating persistent mouse and rat infestations is winning over many new ‘Superproofing’ advocates among customers and in the media.
SUPERPROOF has won significant new contracts with national restaurant chains as they switch from a strategy of trying to supress mice and rat populations to reducing their activity in their outlets to zero.

The Sun says… mouse proof this winter
Also, national newspaper The Sun called on SUPERPROOF director Scott Friday to explain to its readers how the best way to protect their properties this winter is through comprehensive mouse proofing.
Scott Friday said: “Our ability to demonstrate time and again that rodent proofing is the only effective option for protecting internal spaces against mice and rats is paying dividends, especially for our customers.
“We are being recommended to new customers more than ever before, and the fact that the national media is taking a close interest shows that we can offer an exciting pest control service.”
Traps and poisons no longer enough
Conventional mouse control methodologies rely heavily on the use of mouse poisons (rodenticides) and various forms of mouse traps, in an attempt to kill mice once they infest a property.
The problem with this approach is that it does not tackle the underlying cause of the rodent problem – which is that mice can easily live in and move though cavities within the building structure, so can evade traps and bait.
Also, mice and rats have developed resistance to rodenticides and quickly learn to avoid traps, making both highly ineffective as long-term solutions.
This process has contributed to the development of an epidemic of super mice and super rats, which most experts agree represents one of the biggest pest control challenges of the 21st Century.

Toughest mouse control challenges
Scott Friday said: “We meet and overcome this challenge head-on by taking a very different approach. Through the comprehensive use of advanced proofing materials and techniques we protect living space, stopping mice from reaching food sources, so they cannot survive.
“The message is getting across both in the domestic and commercial property sectors that this is the best approach and represents the 21st Century solution to pest control everyone has been looking for.”
Property and FM managers responsible for high-risk properties such as restaurants, pubs, hotels, and food shops, in particular, see the value of SUPERPROOF as it can be relied on to work and protects them against potentially-severe regulatory and reputational risks.
